aloha - week 17

Well, we made it safe and sound (albeit quite a bit exhuasted) to the beautiful island of Oahu in Hawaii.

We're at the local Starbucks, and we're trying to head out to beat the morning traffic, so this blog post isn't going to be about our trip thus far.  I'm putting up our itineraries so you guys know where we are and where we're staying on the other islands.

We get good cell phone reception at Steph's place, so if you need to get ahold of us prior to 12/26, feel free to call our cells.  Please keep in mind that we're 5 hours behind EST, so no calls  before noon at the earliest!!!  :-)  We ARE on vacation after all!

As far as the rest of our trip, we FINALLY booked places to stay in Maui, which means we've got beds for all of our island hopping...woo hoo!!!  No sleeping in the car!

Here's a breakdown of the rest of our trip:

Maui:
12/26 :  Fly to Maui on flight HA106.  Leave Oahu at 517 a.m., get to Maui at 553 a.m.
12/26 and 12/27 : Staying at the Hale Hookipa Inn, the Jasmine Room.  Phone Number : 808.572.6698.
12/28 and 12/29 : Staying at the Hana Hale Inn.  Phone Number : 808-248-7641
12/30 : Fly back to Oahu on flight HA595.  Leave Maui at 915 p.m., return to Oahu at 9:48 p.m..

I actually highly doubt that for our trips to either island, we'll get good cell phone reception, but I might be pleasantly surprised.  The areas are pretty remote, and we'll be more than likely in the mountains or in the water all day long.  Just an FYI!

12/30 - 1/2 in Oahu at Steph's.

1/3 : Fly to Kauai on Flight HA113.  Leave Oahu at 6:16 a.m., get to Kauai at 6:51 a.m..
1/3 : Stay at the Strawberry Guava B&B.  Phone Number : (808) 635-8062
1/4 and 1/5 : Stay at the Hale Ho'o Maha B&B.  Phone Number : 808-826-7083
1/6 : Fly back to Oahu on flight HA376.  Leave Kauai at 7:55 p.m., return to Oahu at 8:25 p.m..

1/7 - 1/10 in Oahu at Steph's.

1/10 : Fly home.  Leave Oahu at 2:17 p.m. on flight DL 2364.  Connect in LA (arrive 935 pm), flight DL 1063 (depart 1025), arrive in Orlando at 5:55 a.m..  Cry that our trip is over.  Get excited to see the Kodi-man :-).

Off to do some more sight seeing...Pearl Harbor before lunch, then some hiking afterwards.  Hope everyone is enjoying their Christmas Holidays!  Love you guys!
