I finally joined the world of technology and got a smartphone (iphone5!), so I have a few more videos to post from apartment living.
The first one is after a no nap day. Apartment living with Kalia is rough with all of the noises around this place, so we're about 50/50 success rate of naps these days. Kalia is obsessed with jumping since staying at Reese's and jumping on her trampoline. Reese showed her out / in, and then her and I jumped on the bed doing out / in earlier in the day, which looked a lot less crazy than this video! I'm not taking the time to edit or crop down any of these either, sorry...just stop watching when you've seen enough!

The next one is of Kalia and I playing in the sand volleyball courts for the first time on Friday. This morning she ran all the way there to "show Daddy the sand!!!". We took Kodi out there this morning too, and I really wish I would've brought my phone to record that one (as a general rule if both Kodi and Kalia are there, the phone stays home...too much to keep up with!). He went crazy running around and around and around the sand. I think he thought he was going to get to water eventually if he just kept running in circles!

I'll try to upload pictures from here at some point. As a side note, we took Kalia to see the new house on Thursday. I was a little worried with how badly she did with the move from our old house that she wouldn't handle this one too well, especially with telling her it's our new home that we couldn't move into. She thought the place was amazing. She ran around like a crazy little girl, and hugged and kissed everything goodbye (like the sink, the tub, the door...) before we left and said "bye bye new home, we'll see you again soon!"). The neighbors across the street, who we met when we were there for our house hunting trip, came over to say they were so excited we got the house and then invited us to theirs. They have a 2 1/2 year old boy and a 6 month old girl. Kalia ran around their house playing with all their toys and talked about "baby Lola" the whole way home. We were at the neighbors for an hour and a half! It gave us the warm fuzzies about moving in, and we can't wait to officially not be homeless anymore :-). I guess this apartment life, which Kalia and I think is for the birds, will make us appreciate our new home that much more!
I guess we are being replaced! Looks like Kalia's getting more hair!
