Happy 20 week Birthday Kalia!

This week, Kalia :
  • has two white specs on her bottom inside gums where her front bottom two teeth will eventually be.  She had tylenol every day but two this week due to teething.  Her temps been around the 99.5 range, and she's been chomping on everything.
  • reaches for everything.
  • worked on her sitting some, but falls over a lot because she reaches too far to get her toys.
  • does this new thing where she squeals and then lifts both her legs straight up...like she's working out her abs.
  • re-established nap time.  Each day is a new one in terms of how long she'll nap for, but she went anywhere from 30 minutes to 3 1/2 hours this week.
  • rode in her stroller like a big girl for the first time (no car seat!) to go shopping.  She did really well in it!  Grandma Debbie came to help Mommy shop for some new clothes.
  • went down to Aila's to play on Friday, and did the park music fest thing again.  She didn't cry this time when they started singing, but she was very serious looking all around at what was going on and who all the people were.
  • squealed constantly during story time at the library.  Apparently she has an opinion on stories about pumpkins!
  • slept all week without the quilt over her window.  She can now nap with sunlight in her room.
  • is starting to get a little bit of green in her eyes.  She's actually been getting it for a few weeks, but it comes and goes.  Sometimes they're pure blue, sometimes around her pupils there's a little bit of green (very observative Aunt Jennifer!).
  • smiled a lot.  Yay!

This last one was Kalia saying "Didn't you get at least one good picture yet Mommy?!?!"

  1. Well, green eyes are gorgeous if I must say so myself ;-) Kaylyn had blue in her eyes until 2 years of age when they turned completely green. I must say they both have big beautiful eyes, so whether they're blue or green, they'll be gorgeous. Love the onesie that sports, I'm not a boy...too funny (could've used one of those until I was three since I was bald that long, but instead had to endure bows being taped to my head!). I still think the picture with you guys at the pumpkin patch together should be your Christmas card (ha, ha). Love you guys and miss you. Can't wait to see you guys again and see my little cutie niece! Love you, Jenn
