- has been waking up every 2-3 hours for feedings. Hello 6 month growth spurt a few weeks early. Hopefully the rice cereal helps calm this down some. Because she doesn't take a bottle, I don't necessarily know exactly how much she's taking in, but the books all agree that they top out at 40 ounces at 6 months. I'm thirsty thirsty thirsty and hungry hungry hungry. I think I out-eat Chris most days!
- still thinks Kodi is hilarious. Chris played soccer with Kodi and had Kalia under the trees and she just laughed and squealed.
- went on her first big road trip. We headed out for the panhandle at 730 pm on Saturday night. She did well until we stopped for food and gas, and then she woke up and was none too pleased. After stopping to feed her, she fell back asleep until after we got to Granny's house.
- did amazingly well with naps and bedtime and being happy up in the panhandle. I thought sleeping was going to be a nightmare, but it really wasn't!
- shared her 24 week birthday with her Daddy. He turned the big 3-0! She didn't let Mommy stay away for too long to celebrate Daddy's big night with him though. Granny watched her while we all headed out and Kalia woke up 2.5 hours later ready to eat!
- made her first trip to Bass Pro Shop in Destin. If you've never been there, that's an adventure in and of itself. She loved the big huge fish in the aquarium.
I took her pictures at her Granny's house, so they're not in the white chair with the pink pillow this week. I thought it was appropriate to leave her in her I love Daddy onesie since it was his birthday! She's getting so so big!!
