31 week bonus pictures

I put Kalia on the floor with her basket filled with books and came back to find this...

which is really really cute because her Granny and Grandpa Hoskins recorded that book for Kalia (when she flips the pages, it's their voices reading the book to her).  I think she likes it!

Then she decided she wanted to flip the basket up and stand on it.  After she gave me this look, she screamed.  The edge of the basket didn't feel so good on her tummy...but she got the basket from the above picture position to the below picture position all by herself.

I flipped the basket over for her, and she was much happier.  She's doing so so well at pulling herself up on everything and being pretty steady with it!

After that, she plopped herself back onto the floor and opened her book and had Granny and Grandpa read to her.  So cute!!

Play time with Daddy!!  She loves her Daddy!

I went in to get her up from a nap and she just looked so so sad / pathetic.  She literally looks like she's in prison here!

Of course, she thought it was all better after I took a picture of her.

Kalia helping Daddy do the laundry!

Kalia eating Mommy's face.  I guess it's because I have a bird nose...this is one of her favorite things to do to me.  She thinks it's great.

Kalia in the middle of one of her 'conversations' with me.  She is most definitely a 'talker'.

Future Beethoven...she's creating a masterpiece.  Look at that concentration.  She loves that little piano!  (She got herself into that position all on her own.)

Going for a jog in her cute jogging outfit (thanks Granny!).

Fun outside time with Kodi...

Kalia : "Wanna play Kodi?"
Kodi : "Umm...Mom?  A little help here please."

"Lets smell each other."
"Listen here Kodi, I'm telling you I'm fun.  I wish you'd just give me a chance."
Kodi is actually so so amazing with Kalia.  Since she's started to crawl (not in the above pictures), she crawls literally on top of him and pulls herself up on him and he just lays there and takes it.  While she's crawling around, he's always pretty close by and gives her frequent licks on the top of her head as she's going.  She, of course, thinks this is great!

Getting ready to head out to International Mall (before Kalia got sick!).

First go round with carrots.  She hated them, but thinks her Daddy is funny.

"No, this isn't yummy, this is disgusting.  Quit lying to me.  It's GROSS."
"Okay okay, you're funny though!"
And this was Chris's method to try to get her to open her mouth so he could shove the carrots in.  Yeaaah...she was all done after this bite!

Kalia in her cute towel after bath time.

These next ones were taken while she was sick.  We were going through her clothes and headbands to see what she'd outgrown.  This was the day she started crawling and she kept getting into things, so I put her in the basket to keep her in one place.

...it didn't last very long though  Even when she's not 100% smiley, she's still so cute!

Playtime with legos!

Getting ready to head for a walk.  I make her wear a hat every time to avoid the sun...and she's so cute in them!

This was right after we put up the gates.  Kalia crawled over to them and tried to escape!  I didn't capture it on the camera, but our baby girl is strong.  She grabbed a hold of those bars and pulled herself up off the floor!!!  Both feet!  Chris asked how long these baby gates were supposed to contain her for...sigh...I hope longer than a few weeks!  And she still had a 101 fever in this picture too.  Thank goodness we're better now!

Till next week...
