I did it! I went in yesterday and turned in my letter of resignation! My last day of work is March 2nd...woo hoo!! They were shocked, didn't see it coming, and asked me to reconsider. They offered to find positions in different groups and yatta yatta. It felt good that they still wanted me there, but I'm wanted at home more!
So for my 30th birthday, for the first time in 15 years, I will be gainfully unemployed. Well, I will no longer receive a paycheck for the type of work I'll be doing. Kalia is quite the handful already these days, and balancing full time work and full time stay at home Mommy was becoming a bit much on all of us. You should see what a disaster our house is! I'm so excited to start this next chapter.
Pictures are going to be a little late this week, but I'll upload a video of Kalia and Kodi from yesterday afternoon to hold you over.
