43 week bonus pictures

Kalia and I on our way to breast feeding support group.
Fun time in the park later on that day.  We rode bikes there.  This park is about a mile away from the house.  She loves the little swivel seat.  She's big enough that she can sit on it by herself now and just hold onto our hands.  Before either Chris or I would take one for the team and sit on there and get nauseous so she could have fun!
She also really loves slides.  She likes when we hold her up and let her slide down all by herself.  My tailbone appreciates it!

"Hey Mommy, we're over here!!!"

"Really?  Well, what I was thinking was we'd do it this way..."
So big!  She's funny with her toys.  She actually does play with almost all of them.  Her Granny sent her those eggs months ago, and she's decided this past week that she can't live without one of them in her hands at all times.  I guess it's appropriate for Easter coming up!

We put up our last set of baby gates to keep her out of the living room.  We initially got them to block her off from the fireplace, but our coffee table is another suicidal object for her, so we just decided to keep her out of the living room altogether.  It also works at keeping Kodi in the living room while she's eating so he's not begging for her to drop stuff (she obliges).    Neither one of them are too happy about it!
"Oh come on Mommy...more gates?!  Is this really necessary??"
"Oh, fine...I still love you Mommy, gates and all!"
"Whew, what an exhausting day!  Time for a nap!"  (Haha, yeah right!!)

I finally programmed Kalia's dog that Aunt Jennifer got her for Christmas to say her name.  I told her to push the button, and she was shocked that it actually spoke her name (and it pronounces it really well!).  Thanks Aunt Jennifer!
"You know my name?!?!  Wow!!  You've been holding out on me this whole time Violet!"
Kalia and Reese!  They happened to randomly have coordinating outfits - so cute!

Kalia will eat greek yogurt if I'm eating it and only off of my spoon.  I have to eat it plain (normally I add splenda and granola) until she's done (gross) and then I can add the good stuff on it!  She was mimicking my face expressions.  I kept trying to get her to show me her teeth so I could show them on here.  They're still tiny, but they're bigger than last week!

Playing peek a boo with me behind the table.  She is really really into peek a boo these days!

Even when she's so so so tired, she rubs her eyes, then moves her hands to play peek a boo, and then does it again.  If I don't say peek a boo she gets mad.  The second picture is her trying so hard to keep those eyes open, she was so over tired!

Another fun day at the park!  This one is 2.5 miles from the house, and we of course went by bike.  It was pretty bright out, so we put her shades on her.  She'll throw a fit wearing them if she's inside, but actually likes it better having them on when we're outside.

Still loves the swings!

"Daddy!!!"  "Kalia!!!!"

"I'm just saying Daddy, these pine needles are great toys.  You should try them out before you judge!"
I know, overload on the sunglasses and hat park pictures, but I did the best I could at filtering!  She's such a funny cute little girl!
