There's a lot this week...with Christmas here, it was too hard to filter!
Being goofy with Daddy playing in her room!
Playing with Aunt Jennifer and Ashlyn after Ashlyn's ear surgery.
I came home from doing my last minute Christmas shopping to Kalia helping Granny cook in the kitchen. She was on a cookie sheet and had a big (clean) potato in her mouth. So stinkin funny and cute!!
"I know, I'm pretty cute right now!"
Kalia loved the pretty bow...
...and eating the paper.
She of course loved the gifts too! (An ornament that she hung on the tree (with a little help from Daddy) and her first Christmas tradition of reading Twas the Night before Christmas before going to bed.) These were the only step by step pictures we took of unwrapping presents. The next day was a blur of keeping her from ingesting bows, wrapping paper, and miscellaneous gifts of Mommy's she couldn't have!
Waiting for Santa to get here!
"Santa?? Is that you up there??"
"Listen Santa, I've heard a lot about you, and I've been good this year. Are you here yet?!"
"Woah...this is a.lot. of toys!"
Mozart in the making! (Thanks Great Grandma Miller!)
Taking a break on the kitchen floor.
Smiling with all her wonderful presents. Thanks to everyone!! Kalia is one happy, blessed little girl!
Us by our ginormous Christmas tree after all of the gifts had been opened. It's the cutest one of Kalia, ignore that Chris is looking at her. Most of you will only notice Kalia anyways!!
Kalia's Christmas dinner. We gave her a sweet potato to chomp on (which she loved)..
...and then as she'd shove it in her mouth, I'd shove a bit of pureed sweet potatoes in. Win win!
"What?? No more presents?!?! Why?!?!"
"Do we have to take this thing down?! It's so cool!"
After Christmas shopping in Hyde Park (Tampa) with Kalia's goofy outfit on from not having an actual back up when she had a blow out. Oh well, live and learn! (She didn't mind at all!)
Getting excited to go meet our cousin Maddie!!
Kalia's new favorite place to psuedo crawl to...between the little tables. She scooches through here (at mach 100) and then heads into the kitchen.
At lunch with Aunt Jennifer, Uncle Jason, Ashlyn, and Kaylyn. Kalia was being fussy (it was past her nap time), so Aunt Jennifer whipped out her camera and Kalia hammed it up.
Notice how Kalia has a hold of my hair here. It's one of her favorite things to do. Tug on my hair!
With her cousin Kaylyn!
Kalia doing sack of taters with Mommy. I toss her over my shoulder and then pull her back up while saying "sack of tators!!" She thinks it's funny, and it helps keep her happy when she's really fussy too. Aunt Jennifer had to put the camera away to eat!
We'll have Kalia pictures with her cousin Maddie to share in next weeks bonus pictures. Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!
